Welcome to the Tomica Winery website – where every sip of wine is brought to life by a long tradition and immense passion for viticulture!

Located in picturesque Čepelovec, on the northern slopes of Bilogora, our winery preserves a heritage that dates back deep into the 19th century.

Our manor, together with the classic cellar built in the Austrian style in 1858, was once a symbol of luxury and prestige, known as the largest building of its kind in all of Northwestern Croatia, from Varaždin to Virovitica. Throughout its rich past, it gathered the notable people of the time, creating unforgettable moments. However, times change, the estate deteriorates and is forgotten. Now, with the love and dedication of the Tomica family, this story is being restored and brought back to life through our wine.

In 2012, the Tomica family resolutely began restoring our manor and cellar, bringing them back to life after years of neglect and decay. Today, we can proudly say that our vineyard is flourishing again, with about 1.5 hectares and 8,000 vines. Here you will find Graševina, Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Laurent, as well as ancient vines of the original Dišeća Ranina, reminding us of the rich heritage we carry. The future also belongs to eco-varieties such as Solaris and Muscaris, planted in our vineyard in 2024.

In our winery, the harvest is done by hand, using modern wine production methods, always striving for better and higher quality production. But in addition to excellent wine, we guarantee you pleasant company and memories of old times that remain in our hearts.

Graševina is an indigenous variety of white grape characteristic of the continental region of Croatia. It is known for its fresh fruity aromas, refreshing acidity, and rich flavor. This variety often produces light, refreshing wines with pronounced fruity notes, such as green apples, citrus, and pear.

With pasta, fish, chicken, and food that is not very spicy. Also with seafood and warm asparagus dishes.

Solaris, 0,75 l

A novelty on the wine market, organic white wine produced from the resistant Solaris variety, grown without pesticides and herbicides. Golden-colored wine, with rich aromas of ripe fruit and honey, fresh and harmonious.

It pairs perfectly with fish, light cheeses, or as an aperitif to enjoy on warm days.

Rosé Cabernet Sauvignon, 0,75 l

Wine with a delicate flavor and gentle pink color reminiscent of the scent of wild strawberries and berries, produced from unpressed Cabernet Sauvignon grapes through a natural fermentation process.

Ideal for light snacks, salads, seafood, or socializing on the terrace.

Cabernet Sauvignon, 0,75 l

Intensely ruby-red wine, with aromas dominated by notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cherry, complemented by subtle tones of pepper, tobacco, and vanilla, derived from years of aging in wood. Served at a temperature of 16-18°C.

With red meat, especially grilled or roasted, with dishes such as lamb, game, and dark poultry dishes.
